As pessimistic as this may sound,
I feel like the world is full of people who don’t want to be saved from their misery. They’d much rather go on being unhappy while subconsciously bringing others down with them. They don’t want to work hard to life a joyful, fulfilling life, so they push away people who are willing to help them.
